Educational Background:
I graduated from Central Florida Community College and Charron Williams College with a degree in Medical Technology. I interned at the Medical Examiners Office while in school, then went on to do Blood Banking for many years, I also worked in the Nuclear Medical Lab of St. Joseph’s Hospital, Tampa.
Story of Salvation and Spiritual Growth:
I was saved during a revival at my home church in Baltimore Maryland. I remember vividly watching my Mom and Dad worshipping and that had a tremendous impact on me. I was a part of an awesome youth group where the majority of my friends came from. The bulk of my spiritual growth has occurred during my adult years. The tremendous teaching resources which are now available really bring the Bible to life for average people. I felt called to serve in a ministry as my family and I joined Idlewild. I have served in the Family Worship Ministry and more recently (and permanently, I hope) in the Student Ministry Department since 2002. The friendships and influences in my life continue to fuel my spiritual grown and interest in going deeper in to the Word and my faith.
Something you might not know:
I am an unlikely athlete. At a recent race I had to go to the bathroom so I just popped in to the port-a-potty thinking I had a few minutes before the start. While I was in there (which you can’t rush what’s going on in there) I heard them start counting down 10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1 gun sound….off go the runners. Me, I’m still in the port-a-potty. I finally gain my composure and off I go. I recovered though and ended up doing ok….but, man there is no worse place to be than in the port-a-potty at the start of a race!! Dude!
